Jacquis Speight portraitJacquis Speight leading worship

An emerging Gospel artist, singer-songwriter, and Psalmist out of Birmingham, Alabama, Jacquis Speight possesses a rare, heartfelt ability to lead listeners straight into healing worship and praise. Born to Gary L. Harville Sr. and the late Jacqueline Sankey-Harville, faith and music were woven into her lineage from the start, making her soul-stirring artistry feel less like a career choice and more like a birthright.

A proud HBCU graduate of Miles College, Jacquis has dedicated her life to nurturing others. By day, she pours into her first-grade students as a devoted educator; by calling, she is a Minister of the Gospel who uses her voice as an instrument of deliverance and hope.

At the heart of her calling is a deeply tender ministry for the hurting. She has ministered through song to countless grieving families, and actively guides others toward restoration by facilitating an Overcoming Grief small group.

Beyond the microphone, Jacquis is a co-host of the HERLounge podcast, where she creates space for honest conversation, and an author whose written work, including When God Remembers You and her memoir Silent Scream, extends the same truth she carries to the stage.

Transferring hope, peace, and unfailing love.
